Vegetation management

MycoLogic Inc. was co-founded in 1994 by Dr. Will Hintz and the Innovation and Development Corporation at the University of Victoria. Our initial objective was to develop and commercialize a biological herbicide for use in vegetation management.

The company has grown through its development of innovative bioherbicide products that offer an alternative to harmful chemical herbicides. It has evolved through a focus on projects that examine biological solutions to both environmental and business challenges.  Recent public concern over chemically-based products and the subsequent government push towards tighter restrictions on their use has encouraged industry to adopt biological solutions as long-term, sustainable strategy for the resolution of pest control problems.
